First Sunday in Advent
Stir up, we implore You, Your power, O Lord, and come, that by Your protection we may be rescued from the threatening perils of our sins and saved by Your mighty deliverance, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
Christmas Eve
O God, who has made this most holy night to shine with the brightness of the true Light, grant, we implore You, that, as we have known on earth the mysteries of that Light, we may also come to the fullness of its joys in heaven; through the same Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
The Epiphany of Our Lord
O God, who by the leading of a star did manifest Your only-begotten Son to the Gentiles, mercifully grant that we, who know You now by faith, may after this life have the fruition of Your glorious Godhead; through the same Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
Ash Wednesday
Almighty and everlasting God, who hates nothing that You have made and forgives the sins of all those who are penitent, create and make in us new and contrite hearts, that we, worthily lamenting our sins and acknowledging our wretchedness, may obtain from You, the God of all mercy, perfect remission and forgiveness; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
The Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary
We implore You, O Lord, pour Your grace into our hearts, that, as we have known the incarnation of Your Son Jesus Christ by the message of an angel, so by His cross and Passion we may be brought to the glory of His resurrection; through the same Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
Palm Sunday
Almighty and everlasting God, who sent Your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, to take upon Him our flesh and to suffer death upon the cross that all mankind should follow the example of His great humility, mercifully grant that we may both follow the example of His patience and also be made partakers of His resurrection; through the same Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
The Vigil of Easter
O God, who did enlighten this most holy night with the glory of the Lord’s resurrection, preserve in all Your people the spirit of adoption which You have given, so that, renewed in body and soul, they may offer You a pure service; through the same Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
The Resurrection of Our Lord
Almighty God, who through Your only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, has overcome death and opened to us the gate of everlasting life, we humbly implore you that, as You put into our minds good desires, so by Your continual help we may bring the same to good effect; through the same Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
The Day of Pentecost
O God, who taught the hearts of Your faithful people by sending them the light of Your Holy Spirit, grant us by the same Spirit to have a right judgment in all things and evermore to rejoice in His holy comfort; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
St. Michael and All Angels
O everlasting God, who has ordained and constituted the services of angels and men in a wonderful order, mercifully grant that, as Your holy angels always serve you in heaven, so by your appointment they may help and defend us on earth; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
All Saints’ Day
O almighty God, who has knit together Your elect in one communion and fellowship in the mystical body of Your Son Jesus Christ, our Lord, grant us grace so to follow Your blessed saints in all virtuous and godly living that we may come to those unspeakable joys which You have prepared for those who unfeignedly love You; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
