    Now that the research and organization have been determined, it is time to write the intro and conclusion. Imagine you are in a choir and your choir director has you practice all the notes. BUT you REALLY practice that first note and the last note. As the director explains, if you mess up the first note, you have lost your audience. If you are perfect the entire song but mess up the last note, the audience will only remember that. You need to make sure your intro and conclusion are pitch perfect.

    • In class: write intro and conclusion in class.
    • After 30 minutes, student exchange work with one other student.
    • Once the students have a chance to read through each other's work, they can provide each other with feedback that will allow them to improve their work.
