Each student will be given 20 minutes to brainstorm potential Social Activist they would like to give a speech about.
After 20 minutes the students will get in groups of 3 or 4 and discuss their potential topics and why they have chosen that particular person.
After feedback, with the group, each student will identify their likely person, the specific purpose and a rough draft of their central idea/thesis statement and post on the Discussion board.
