- Support initiatives to:
- keep or make information accessible, in the real world and online
- prevent censorship
- promote literacy of all kinds
- Ask questions
- Educate yourself and others: investigate and learn; explain, don’t argue
- Always cite your sources
- Use information to protect and raise others up, not to do harm
- Practice information hygiene and information environmentalism
- Think critically and read laterally
- Pay attention to your emotions when engaging with information
- Notice inequities and injustices in the information landscape, and help to address them
