    Assessment

    Explore photographic portraits and generate an annotated version of a personal photograph, according to the instructor’s directions and rubric, if applicable.

    • Step One: Look and Think
    • Step Two: Create
      • Make a copy of a photograph that pertains to you or your family. Add annotations—in any style you want—to the copy, like Wendy Red Star does in the work 1880 Crow Peace Delegation, to provide further insight into the subject(s) and event(s) being depicted.
      • Add a written description of the choices you made and what additional information or insight you hoped to convey through your additions.
