Write approximately 125 words (0.5 pages double-spaced) that serve as a rationale for why you are transitioning out of your Rogerian argumentation section and into your Toulmin argumentation section. For example, you could acknowledge that while you believe you established a fair middle ground solution, you also recognize that your social justice issue is complex and also in need of an analytical approach beyond compromise. That way, more of the complexities and tensions of counterargumentation can further be addressed objectively. In other words, Aristotelian argumentation centered your evidence-based perspective. Rogerian argumentation centered the compromise between your evidence-based perspective and the evidence-based opposing viewpoints. However, Toulmin argumentation centers the evidence without prioritizing over evidence whose perspective is stronger nor how to find a compromise between viewpoints.
