Rogerian Argumentation Section for the Social Justice Research Essay Assignment

Write approximately 500 words (2 pages double-spaced) that reframe your social justice research essay’s approach towards a compromise-based solution. Now that you have already proven your points correct with the Aristotelian section, it is time to give more credit to other people and perspectives who can be part of the solution to your social justice issue, too. You can do so by reframing the social justice issue to seek a middle ground. Start by summarizing the opposing viewpoints in a fair way. Then, analyze those opposing viewpoints in a way that results in identifying shared concerns or values. Following that, reintroduce your perspective in a way that does not suggest it is the only way to solve the issue. Instead, find a middle ground that utilizes your perspective and the opposing viewpoints. That compromise is the solution, and be sure that you acknowledge both sides’ interests in what happens if that solution is put into practice.
