    This module presents a fifteen-module OER series for English 102 centered on writing social justice research essays. This module emphasizes kairos—timing and context in writing. Each module features readings, activities, and assignments. Students will participate in a Think-Pair-Share/Think-Pair-Sheer activity to examine kairos, followed by using a case study on student labor unions to highlight how context influences writing and research on contemporary social justice issues.
