These sources are Plato’s “Allegory of the Cave,” Shelley’s “Ozymandias,” and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie: The Movie. We will still use multiple secondary sources from our class handout titled “Power Handout.”
Please continue using the Quote Analysis Worksheet during our class discussion and writing time to first form your attitudes and ideas regarding the assignment. Once you identify for yourself how the three primary sources connect, locate how your secondary sources may or may not be discussing similar matters.
This essay should be 5-7 pages and is the longest essay of the semester, and we will devote the most amount of our daily schedule for it. As such, it is worth the most amount of our final class grade at 30%.
