Students will then integrate the work of others into an argumentative essay or response letter.

- 8.1: Climate Change and Paraphrasing Readings
- Students will be introduced to and then read a call-to-action letter from health science editors about the cost and responsibility of rich nations to slow down and halt global warming and ecological devastation.
- 8.2: Climate Change and Paraphrasing Classroom Activity
- Students will be introduced to paraphrasing as a means of translation, given tools to paraphrase, and practice paraphrasing in groups of peers using the text.
- 8.3: Climate Change and Paraphrasing Activities
- Students will receive some tips for integrating paraphrases into their writing and given a choice of writing a response letter or an argumentative research essay utilizing the call-to-action letter.
