Before we go through the chronology of the African American story, it is important to think about how one’s race and racial history impacts their lived experiences. To fully understand the magnitude of this course’s content and purpose, we must challenge ourselves to be introspective and try to relate to this material on a personal level.
For your discussion posts assignments, you will read or watch the prompt and then make two posts: 1) a response to the prompt (minimum 250 words) and 2) you will respond to a classmate's post (minimum 75 words). This initial discussion will be a little different. Instead of something to view or read, I want you to be introspective and respond to the following question(s).
