- The author employs much dialogue in this story. Look back at some of the sections of dialogue. What do you observe about the punctuation rules regarding dialogue?

- How does the author work to develop their characters? What other details could the author add to further develop the characters in the story?
- Look back at the author's transitions between paragraphs. Do any transitions need work to show the relationships between paragraphs? If so, which transitions need work?
- Do you find the author's conclusion effective? Why or why not?
