Preparación comunicativa 1: ¡A jugar!

Choose a partner. Each player chooses a shape (O or X). At each turn each player may move their shape to a spot if they can correctly say the time in Spanish. The player who manages to place 3 pieces in a row in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line wins the game. Once all the available spaces are filled, if nobody manages to place 3 pieces in a row, the game ends in a draw.

There are 4 games to scroll through - choose a new partner for each game!

With a partner, use the following World Time Clock to ask each other what time it is in different cities around the world.

Modelo:

Estudiante 1: ¿Qué hora es en Paris?

Preparación comunicativa 4: El horario de clases

Your instructor will tell you which student you are below so you can see a schedule with the classes you must take this semester. You will need to ask your classmates for the day and time of your scheduled classes and they will need to ask you for theirs. Remember to note when your classes are, so that you can share your schedule with the class.

Modelo:

Estudiante 1: ¿A qué hora es la clase de matemáticas?

Estudiante 2:

If you have the class on their schedule: La clase de matemáticas es desde (from) las diez hasta (til) las doce de la mañana los viernes.

If you do not have the class on their schedule: ¡Lo siento! (I´m sorry!) No tengo la clase de matemáticas.

Estudiante 1: ¡Gracias!
