    • Step 1: Get an idea or concept for your story
    • Step 2: Research
    • Step 3: Develop a theme for your story
    • Step 4: Decide on a story type and conflict for your story
    • Step 5: Select a Setting
    • Step 6: Develop Characters based around the conflict and assign them to archetypes
    • Step 7: Create an Inciting Incident and Climax for your story
    • Step 8: Structure the plot and create an outline
    • Step 9: Break plot into scenes and begin writing
    • Step 10: Write
    • Step 11: Read and Revise
    • Step 12: Workshop through readings with performers
    • Step 13: Put it up in front of an audience
    • Step 14: Revise
    • Step 15: Complete the project and move on to your next play.
