Los números

Observa cómo se escriben los siguientes números.

Hace muchos años era posible escribir con palabras separadas los números entre 15 y 30 (por ejemplo, diez y seis), pero esta regla cambió y ahora solamente se considera correcto escribirlos con una palabra.

Observa que los números no tienen género, pero si se usan para modificar a un sustantivo, aquellos que terminen en "un" deben cambiar a la forma femenina si se refieren a un sustantivo femenino.

Hay treinta y un estudiantes en la clase.

Hay treinta y una páginas en el capítulo.

Observa también que "mil" es suficiente, y no se debe usar "un mil". Por ejemplo, la fecha 1938 se escribe mil novecientos treinta y ocho.

¡Atención! El plural de millón pierde el acento: millones.
