A. En el restaurante

Llena los espacios en blanco con la forma apropiada del verbo en paréntesis.

Los clientes regulares _____________________ (almorzar) en el mismo restaurante frecuentemente.
El mesero que los _____________________ (servir) es muy simpático y se _____________________ (reír) mucho.
Nosotros _____________________ (seguir) comiendo en el mismo restaurante también.
Pero yo _____________________ (querer) un poco más de variedad.
Si una persona _____________________ (repetir) el mismo plato (dish) mucho, va a ser aburrido.
¿ _____________________ (recordar – tú) la primera vez que comiste (you ate) en un restaurante especial?
Yo no _____________________ (poder) salir muy frecuentemente, por eso ___________________ (preferir) comer en restaurantes nuevos y especiales.
Pero mis amigos y yo _____________________ (tener) una tradición de cenar en el restaurante al lado del cine, después de mirar una película.

B. ¿Por qué? (Why?)

Usa querer o gustar para explicar por qué haces las siguientes cosas (why you do the following things).

Modelo: ¿Por qué estudias el español?
–Quiero hablar con Shakira en español. / Me gustan las lenguas extranjeras.

¿Por qué vas a las montañas?
¿Por qué comes vegetales?
¿Por qué escribes ese blog?
¿Por qué van Luis y Felipe a la cocina?
¿Por qué lleva Ana dos suéteres?

C. Construir oraciones

Primero, selecciona un sujeto, un verbo y un objeto lógico; luego conjuga el verbo y agrega otras palabras necesarias para construir una oración completa (First, choose a subject, a verb and a logical object; then conjugate the verb and add other necessary words to construct a complete sentence). Escribe 5 oraciones completas.

Modelo: Las compañeras de clase prefieren el helado de vainilla, no de chocolate.

Sujetos posibles: Adela – Bernardo y Javier – las compañeras de clase – nosotros – Tomás – tú – ustedes – yo
Verbos posibles: almorzar – devolver – entender – pedir – preferir – querer – recordar – servir
Objetos posibles: arepas – arroz con pollo – mala comida – ensalada – helado de vainilla – menú – refresco – servilleta
