Carlitos y Belén son niños de siete años que hablan sobre diferentes profesiones que desean tener. Lee su conversación y contesta las preguntas que siguen. (Carlitos and Belén are two seven-year-olds talking about different professions that they would like to be. Read their conversation and then answer the questions below.)

Carlitos: Hola Belén, tengo que decidir mi futuro. Mi papá es policía y él es muy serio. También él corre todos los días. Pero soy muy perezoso. Creo que no quiero ser policía.
Belén: Entonces, ¿qué quieres ser?
Carlitos: Quiero ser cocinero. Los cocineros son muy generosos y amables. Ellos cocinan comida rica como los pasteles. ¡Quiero comer pastel de chocolate todos los días!
Belén: También, los cocineros son gordos. Mi tía es cocinera y ella es muy gorda. También, ella no es rica, ella vive en un apartamento pequeño.
Carlitos: ¿De verdad? Entonces, quiero ser médico. Los médicos son inteligentes y ricos.
Belén: Pero necesitas aprender mucho, ¿quieres ir a la escuela por 50 años? Mi mamá es médica y ella es trabajadora porque ella lee y escribe todos los días. No recibes buenas notas en matemáticas tampoco.
Carlitos: ¿¿50 años?? Ay, Belén. Creo que no quiero trabajar.
Belén: Carlitos, cálmate. Solamente tenemos siete años, tenemos tiempo. Debemos decidir nuestro futuro en diez años.
