De Madrid viajaron por tren a París donde otro tío de Paloma les ofreció hospedaje. Un primo de Paloma las llevó al museo del Louvre, a la Basílica de Sacré-Cœur en la vecindad artística de Montmartre, a la torre Eiffel con vistas de todo París y del río Seine y claro, también las llevó a la catedral de Notre Dame. Después de 3 días en París, las chicas tomaron otro tren que pasó por Bélgica y Alemania para llegar a Ámsterdam en los países bajos (Netherlands). En Amsterdam se quedaron con un amigo de la familia, anduvieron en bici, vieron muchos molinos de viento, probaron muchos chocolates diferentes y toda la gente fue muy amable. De Ámsterdam, tomaron un tren y un autobús para llegar a Copenhagen.

Lo más memorable de Copenhagen fue la visita al parque de atracciones de Tivoli y el día que tomaron un ferry para visitar Malmö, Suecia. De Copenhagen regresaron a España para pasar el resto del verano en San José, Almería en el sur de España, donde se hospedaron en la casa de una tía de Paloma. Pasaron 2 magníficas semanas en la playa, tomaron el sol, remaron un bote a una cueva, hicieron caminatas en las montañas, bailaron en una discoteca por la noche y conocieron a muchos españoles y franceses.
