In this issue, the immigrants continue to add to their stories to include basic descriptions of personal and professional responsibilities, hobbies, plans & preferences.
As always, learners will be exposed to less contrived speech and aren’t necessarily supposed to understand everything because in authentic conversations, speakers will often include information goes beyond the topic, in this case personal and professional responsibilities, hobbies, plans & preferences. This is how language is in the real world.
The goal for learners is to be patient, pick out bits and pieces of language you are familiar with, listen and read for the skills in this PLUMA and learn from the context.
I can narrate and exchange basic descriptions of our needs, hobbies, plans, and preferences, and the state of mind these provoke.
