¡A inventar! As you know, language is a system of patterns. Once we identify a pattern, we can use it to our advantage to “invent” words. One pattern with professions is the suffix “-ólogo (or -óloga for female professionals). Let’s use this to invent our own supplemental vocabulary!
The English equivalent of -ólogo is –ologist. Por ejemplo, cardiologist is cardiólogo/a in Spanish. First, list several English “–ologist” professions, then “invent” their Spanish equivalent.
