The English equivalent is “To be going to ________.”
First, conjugate Ir according to who is going to do the action.
Add a.
Add the infinitivo for the future action.
Por ejemplo:
Este fin de semana, voy a salir con mis amigos.
Mañana, Eduardo va a viajar a Madrid.
El próximo jueves, mi familia y yo vamos a ir al concierto de Madonna.
Ángela va a comprar un carro nuevo el sábado.
