Para que otras personas concuerden con tu punto de vista o que apoye la dirección que tu quieres es necesario usar ciertas expresiones para persuadirlas. Mira la lista de expresiones que siguen y de las expresiones impersonales que comunican confianza de tu opinión.

1. Convénceme. Practica las expresiones para convencer a alguien en las siguientes situaciones:
a. Necesitas que tu hermano mayor no emigre y se quede en el país porque la situación va a mejorar.
b. Tu universidad está auspiciando la educación de un refugiado de Guatemala. Convence a tu familia para que acoja a este nuevo estudiante.
2. Decisiones importantes. Tu pareja y tú tienen una gran vocación de ayudar a la gente y han decidido emigrar a un país en guerra. Tus padres no están de acuerdo. Convéncelos. En grupos de tres, se reparten el rol de madre, padre, e hijo.
3. Empatía. Trabajas como voluntario en un centro de acogida. Ofrece tu servicio e información para los inmigrantes que llegan. Convéncelos de que están en buenas manos y que vas a hacer todo lo posible para que su experiencia de acogida sea positiva.
DISCUSIÓN ¿Cuáles crees que son los posibles argumentos en contra la presencia de inmigrantes? ¿Crees que hay una proporción de inmigrantes ahora en comparación con el pasado? ¿Vienen los ancetros de tu familia de un origen inmigrante? ¿Quién son las personas que nunca inmigraron a tu país?
