    Com’era Sara da piccola? Che espressioni usa la sua mamma per descriverla?

    Secondo Sara, quando era piccola era più libera dei bambini di oggi, che hanno molte attività organizzate [scheduled activities]. Secondo lei i bambini dovrebbero avere più libertà di gestire il loro tempo [manage their time]. Sei d’accordo?  Tu avevi molte attività organizzate?     La scuola in Italia è obbligatoria [compulsory] da 6 a 16 anni. Ecco la struttura del sistema d’istruzione [instructional system] in Italia:

    Scuola non obbligatoria, così suddivisa:

    • Nido d’infanzia (detto anche Asilo nido): da 3 mesi a 3 anni (a pagamento);
    • Scuola dell’infanzia (detta anche Scuola materna): da 3 a 6 anni (gratuita se pubblica)

    Scuola dell’obbligo, gratuita e così suddivisa:

    • Scuola primaria (elementare) – da 6 a 11 anni, obbligatoria;
    • Scuola secondaria di primo grado (medie) – da 11 a 14 anni, obbligatoria;
    • Scuola secondaria di secondo grado (superiore) da 14 a 19 anni, obbligatoria fino a 16 anni.
