Find out why on earth the good girl went back to her evil (of course) stepmother and stepsister, when she had such a good life with Frau Holle ... and find out also why she returned to her benefactress ... Fill in the blanks with the correct simple past forms of sein.

1.	Eines Tages stand das brave Mädchen wieder zu Hause vor der Tür; sie mit Gold bedeckt (covered).
2.	Ihre Stiefmutter rief: Wo du? Wer soll uns Wasser holen? Wer soll uns das Essen bringen?
3.	Das brave Mädchen: Ich bei Frau Holle und habe alles gemacht, was Leute von mir erwarteten (expected of me).
4.	Die Stiefschwester: Wir gar nicht neugierig (curious)! Aber jetzt will ich auch so viel Gold! Ich laufe sofort zum Brunnen und werfe mich hinein!
Drei (natürlich) Tage später kommt das zweite Mädchen zurück ...
5.	Die Stiefmutter: ihr am selben Ort? Warum bist du mit Pech (tar) bedeckt?
6.	Das faule Mädchen: Ja, ja, Mutti, ich auch bei der Frau Holle, aber ich musste so viele Hausarbeiten machen!!!
7.	Die Stiefmutter: Ja, Liebling, du nicht für solche schwere Arbeit geeignet (meant for this hard job)! Setzt dich auf das Sofa, ich bringe dir etwas Wasser.
Das brave Mädchen ist wieder bei Frau Holle
8.	Frau Holle: Wie es zu Hause? Hat es dir da gut gefallen?
9.	das brave Mädchen: Ja, sehr ... Meine Stiefmutter und Stiefschwestern so enttäuscht, dass sie kein Gold bekommen haben!
10.	Frau Holle: Ja, und deine Stiefschwester konnte vom Sofa nicht mehr aufstehen ... Sie selbst noch diesen Morgen am selben Ort!
11.	das brave Mädchen: Nur deswegen wollte ich nach Hause! Schadenfreude, wie man sagt, ist die schönste Freude ... Entschuldigung, das nicht sehr nett von mir!
12.	Frau Holle: Nett nicht, aber verständlich. Und jetzt brauchst du unbedingt einen Namen. Die Gebrüder Grimm nicht sehr kreativ: Viele Märchenfiguren haben keine Namen!
