    To express after doing something, you use après followed by a past infinitive (= avoir or être + [past participle]).

    Après avoir dormi 8 heures, elle se sentait mieux. (After sleeping 8 hours, she felt better. / After going to the mall, we were pretty tired.)

    Après être allées au centre commercial, nous étions assez fatiguées. (After having slept 8 hours, she felt better. / After having gone to the mall, we were pretty tired.)

    Notice that there are two ways of translating the French sentences above to English.

    Répondez avec après avoir/être + [participe passé]

    Modèle : prendre une douche / jouer au rugby ➔ Je prends une douche après avoir joué au rugby

    1. aller prendre un café / aller voir un film
    2. faire le devoirs / regarder la télé
    3. répondre / écouter la question du prof.
    4. regarder la télé / me coucher
    5. Prendre le petit-déjeuner / me lever
    6. arriver à Paris / visiter le Louvre
