    Learning Objectives

In this section, you will be able to:

    • Listen and understand the descriptions of daily routines, identifying the activities and the specific vocabulary used to describe them
    • Talk about your daily routine using simple present tense verbs and vocabulary related to daily activities.
    • Engage in simple conversation using the daily routine vocabulary.

    Dialog 1:

Listen to the dialogue between Sami and Rami as Sami asks about Rami's daily schedule to plan a visit to the coffee shop together, then answer the questions that follow

    بَرنامَجي اليَومِي

    Check Your Understanding

    • With a partner, take turns asking each other in Arabic:

      • What time do you wake up?

      • Do you eat breakfast? What do you do after lunch?

      • When do you go to bed?

      • Try to use new verbs like: يستيقظ، يتناول، يذهب، يدرس، ينام, and adverbs like مبكراً، مساءً، بعد الظهر.

    • Work with a partner. In Arabic, have a short conversation about your daily routine. Ask at least three questions about when your partner does things (wakes up, eats, studies, sleeps). Try to answer in full sentences using new vocabulary.

    Dialog 2:

Listen to the dialogue between Nora and Basant's in the coffee shop, then answer the questions that follow

    Checking Your Understanding

Using a voice recorder device, record yourself describing your daily routine in Arabic, starting from when you wake up and continuing until you go to bed. Aim to be as detailed as possible, utilizing the vocabulary and phrases you've learned in Arabic

    Interactive Element

Ask your classmate about his/her daily routine. Include questions such as, "What is the first thing you do in the morning?" or "How do you typically spend your evenings?" Make sure these questions are in the Arabic language.
