    Dialog 1

In this conversation, two friends, Ali and Sarah, discuss their weekend plans and activities. They talk about where they are going and what they are doing and share casual updates on their lives. The dialogue emphasizes daily routines and social interactions, such as visiting a restaurant, a museum, or a café and planning future activities like trips to the beach or university library visits. This conversation is set in the present and future tenses, allowing learners to practice everyday Arabic expressions and vocabulary for common situations.

Dialog "My City With Sarah and Ali"

    Check Your Understanding

    • Convert the dialog into text. Convert the conversation into a continuous written narrative and a coherent paragraph.
    • Work with your partner to extend the dialog by adding 2-3 more sentences imagining what Ali and Sarah would discuss next.
    • Ask your peers questions about the dialog and take turns asking and answering.

    Role-play

    • Practice your speaking skills with your peers. One student plays Ali, and the other plays Sarah. They act out the dialog, focusing on pronunciation and fluency. Then, they switch roles to reinforce both perspectives.
