ENTRANDO EN EL TEMA
El desarrollo sostenible es un asunto de gran interés últimamente, pero ¿qué realmente significa? La sostenibilidad en sí satisface del presente sin comprometer el futuro y bienestar de las futuras generaciones. El desarrollo sostenible implica el desarrollo y progreso de la infraestructura y de los servicios garantizando simultáneamente el equilibrio entre el crecimiento económico y el bienestar ambiental y social. Proyectos de esta índole consideran la eficiencia energética, viviendas sostenibles, y transporte ecológico. El desarrollo sostenible es, en esencia, una cuidadosa estrategia que usa los recursos naturales de manera eficiente y atiende los beneficios inmediatos como los de largo plazo. Después de todo, necesitamos velar por el planeta y los seres que lo habitan.
Primer paso. Con dos o tres estudiantes de clase hagan una lista de los problemas sociales y ambientales que menciona el
video. Después clasifiquen cada uno de los problemas mencionados y pónganlos en orden de importancia. (1 = sumamente importante, 5 = poco importante).|

¿Crees que los tres problemas que identificaron son semejantes para otras personas de su edad en otros países?
PARA LUCIRTE. ¿Es el estado del planeta una preocupación que influye tus decisiones? ¿Consideras cómo se fabrican los objetos que compras o consumes? ¿Te consideras un consumidor ecológico? ¿Qué cosas ayudan o interfieren en tus decisiones?
